Elyse Jolie J'adore Lafete (W Club Exclusive)

Being a newbie in Fashion Royalty are just nothing compare to all the FR veteran out there. I still remembered that when I was firstly introduce to FR by my friend, Hairul Lee Daa. I really thank you to him for getting me this "poison" in one of our doll gathering 2 years back.

I have a habit to check out the dolls feature and make sure myself really love her. Then, I browse over the official webpage of Integrity Toys, I found my first favourite IT dolls ~ Rupaul. Looking back to my blog site, I felt so sad that I abandoned the passion of blogging about my hobby. Till then, getting encouragement from my another friend, Jaime to start back all the doll sharing, photo sharing and reviews.

I am very excited to get my first FR gift set and can't wait to share with all of you. Therefore, Elyse Jolie J'adore will be my first doll to review at (at least, I hope it not too late to share it).

Elyse Jolie J'adore Lafete is a gift set for 2015, she is packaged in her very own carry-on box. The is the first time IT taking member's feedback serious and produce this exclusive for gift set, after surveyed there is no homage for gift set doll in early days of the collection.

Due to the production limit, it only make available for 2015 W Club member. The best part is the speechless excitement when you know that your gift set are given certificate of ownership. That mean the edition size will be based on the number of total orders received. Not to mentioned about the price, we really want to thanks IT for the special price for this gift set. I will try to make review as interesting as possible.

Elyse Jolie is a 12.5-inch fully articulated vinyl fashion doll with a luscious fully rooted hairstyle and delicately hand-applied eyelashes! This absolutely fabulous gift set includes three complete outfits for Elyse: an elaborate lingerie set, a luxurious two-piece suit and a fabulous gown to ring in the new year! Gift set Boxes
The box are in red colour and the lock and handle are coated in gold. There are three box divider in it and the dolls and the accessories are put neatly in the box. When I first took out the set from the brown box, I was impressed with the colour because I really love the red gradation so much. The doll were faced me when I open it. Everyone wouldn't thought of the doll was placed upside down but if it doesn't placed in that ways, how can they make you more "WoW" then.

I love how Integrity Toys place the doll and the accessories. In the box, you will see :
1) Accessories (Bracelet and earring), Corset, Stocking, Purse and heels
2) Elyse in her maroon mermaid tail gown, Doll stand and support
3) Accessories (Necklace and ring), Corporate top and blouse, extra pair of hand and heels.

But wait a minutes~! Aren't there supposed to be a certificate of ownership when it come to "LIMITED" gift set? No worry, the certificate are put underneath of the 3 small dividers. You will see it when you deboxing Elyse. I got mine at 1169 over 1400 units.

Doll Accessories

As Integrity Toys promise and rewards to members, by paying USD175, you will not only getting the beautiful box but you get 1 gown, 1 corporate outfit and 1 lingerie with the doll. It's a very big surprise for me because I am a bit particular about the accessories when choosing my favourite doll.

And, when I knew Elyse came with extra pair of shoes and hands, bracelet, necklace, earring, purse, I told myself this is worth of price. Of course, Elyse face up and her characteristic make me fond in love with her. I can't wait my parcel man to send her over to me. 

There is two things that I do not like about the accessories is:
1) The ring are too loose and very easy to drop out after putting on the finger
2) Necklace are very hard to hold and cling together on Elyse. I did tried to cling the necklace on Elyse for photo shooting but I gave up after one hour trying.
3) Stocking has to be handled  with care after snapped together with the corset. If not handled with care, it may tear off.
4) One of the heel can't fit in Elyse's leg, too small and left a small gap between leg and heel.

Face Sculpt & Make up
As you can see from the picture below, the face blush are not really appealing because of the bright lighting. She had a raven hair and white fair skin, dark and thick eyebrows, golden white eyes shadow, blue eye balls, red lips and red blushes....Both of her hand are painted red nail liqueur include her extra pair of hand.

Her long raven hair are quite silky, slight curly, and long till waistline, love it so much...I really think that blue eye ball are very fascinating and seductive matching her red hot lips. The best part of collecting IT dolls is where all the doll eyelashes are hand applied.

Joint movement

By comparing both FR 12.5" and 16" line, both body structure are same, having torso, waistline separated and this ease the movement for left-right turning. 16" FR has bendable torso on leg which FR don't have it. That mean FR16 can have both type of shoes ~ flat and heels but FR can't. Comparing FR to Colour Infusion (CI), FR are obviously at higher range of quality. CI do not have waistline separated from her body, therefore so many movement on CI are very stiff and unable to pose like FR.

In term of pose-able doll, FR win because she is able to make lot movement compare to others line. The only thing is FR are hard to balance on it own and need to have stand support or she need to lean against the wall to pose. FR16 can stand on her own with and/or without stand support.

IFDC Convention Doll

The IFDC convention ended with a big bang when the last two dolls of the weekend were finally unveiled late Saturday night!

Alain Tremblay presented the dolls that he styled for the convention and elaborated on their exciting story line, explaining that he wanted these dolls to reflect this year's spy/Bond theme as much as possible, but in a novel and totally original way!

Featuring a total gender reversal on the usual "man saves damsel in distress" story, this time around, it's the helpless male scientist that needs rescuing from the clutches of an edgy half-woman, half-machine villain! Will the ultra-glamorous Agent 355 be up to the task? You decide!

As mentioned, these 3 dolls are convention doll. For oversea members who can't attend for it, no worry as IT will launch the "Right To Buy" Lottery soon.

 

Anja™ as Agent 355

Parisian top model Anja was noticed in some of W Cosmetics' most notorious campaigns and was ready for new challenges, when her agent came up with the idea that she should give acting a shot. Soon after her very first audition, Anja immediately landed the role of Agent 355, a new kind of ultra-glamorous female spy set to save the world in the latest designer garb! Marius Lancaster™ as Professor Young

When Hollywood pretty boy Marius Lancaster's agent called to tell him that he had landed a major role in Agent 355, he thought to himself: "Sweet, I've got it made, I'm a spy!"

He wasn't as thrilled though, when he found out that he would essentially be "the damsel in distress" and not the spy of this new epic adventure- he wasn't too sure what that would do for his macho "ladies' man" image. To his surprise, the experience on set was one of the best that he ever had and the chemistry with the movie's two lead actresses was pretty hot on film to say the least, especially in that famous scene when Agent 355 comes down from the ceiling to rescue him from Anika's laser cutting table at the last possible second, before the laser cuts him in half! His performance as a fashionably geeky professor in desperate need of rescuing did not go unnoticed by the movie-going public and since his appearance in Mission Lovejoy, the casting offers have been pouring in left and right! So, being a "mister in distress" is not that bad after all it seems, especially when you have two of the most beautiful leading ladies fighting over you... We'll definitely be seeing this guy again in the near future!
